New York Times Bestselling Author Tomi Adeyemi is Auditorium Speaker at 2019 91´«Ã½ Annual Conference & Exhibition

Tomi Adeyemi is a Nigerian-American writer and creative writing coach based in San Diego. After graduating Harvard University with an honors degree in English literature, Adeyemi received a fellowship that allowed her to study West African mythology and culture in Salvador, Brazil. This session will take place Monday, June 24, 2019, 3:30-4:30 pm at the 2019 91´«Ã½ Annual Conference & Exhibition in Washington, DC.
Adeyemi's debut novel, Children of Blood and Bone, a West African/Young Adult Fantasy project, is a New York Times bestseller and was selected as a finalist for the 2019 William C. Morris YA Debut Award. The novel is also currently in movie development at Fox 2000/Temple Hill Productions.
When she’s not writing or watching Scandal, Adeyemi can be found blogging and teaching creative writing to the 4,500 subscribers of her website , named one of the "101 Best Websites for Writers" by Writer’s Digest.
