New workshop: Professional Growth for Late-Career Librarians

CHICAGO—91´«Ã½ Publishing eLearning Solutions announces an exciting new workshop, with Caitlin Williams. This workshop will last 90 minutes and take place at 2:30pm Eastern/1:30 Central/12:30 Mountain/11:30am Pacific on Thursday, May 30, 2019.

In this 90-minute workshop, you’ll explore how to structure your late career and your transition to retirement. You’ve invested a lot in your work and your field over the years, and a thoughtful plan means much higher likelihood for a rewarding and enriching post-retirement life.
You will examine the unique talents that you’ve brought to your work and consider how you can continue to use them. What passions have you had on the back burner? What brings joy to your life currently? And what matters most to you right now? Come explore these questions and learn a process for crafting a lifestyle that reflects your most valued interests, curiosities, ideas, and ideals.
About the Instructor
Caitlin Williams is the author of (91´«Ã½ Editions 2019) as well as a speaker and professional development consultant. She has spent 20+ years working in the field of career/workplace development. Caitlin has had the honor of conducting career coaching for 91´«Ã½ attendees at its twice-yearly conferences since 2000. She has presented and contributed numerous articles and podcasts to 91´«Ã½. She has written previously on career and workplace topics. Caitlin is retired from teaching at San Jose State University.
