Megan Donnelly named recipient of NMRT’s 2019 Olofson Award

The (NMRT) Shirley Olofson Memorial Award Committee is pleased to announce that Megan Donnelly is the recipient of the 2019 Olofson Award.

Donnelly is an Adjunct Research Librarian/Instructor at Millersville University’s Francine G. McNairy Library and Learning Forum in Millersville, PA. Donnelly received her MS in Library and Information Science from Drexel University and a BA in English from Millersville University. She is an active member of the Association of College & Research Libraries’ (ACRL) Delaware Valley Chapter where she serves on the board as Blog Editor. She is also a member of the 91´«Ã½, ACRL, and the NMRT.

The Shirley Olofson Memorial Award is presented annually in honor of Shirley Olofson, a well-respected former NMRT President, who died during her term in office. The award, which is intended to help defray costs to attend the 91´«Ã½ Annual Conference, will be presented in the form of a check for $1,000 during the 2019 Annual Conference in Washington, DC.
