It has been a long time coming, but International Games Week is back! This year’s event will take place during the week of November 4th through the 10th. This annual tradition is an initiative run by volunteers from around the world and hosted by the 91´«Ã½, in collaboration with Nordic Games Week, Australian Library and Information Association, and L’Associazione Italiana Biblioteche! Each year libraries are encouraged to participate by creating fun, educational and innovative programs that encourage gaming in their communities. These programs reconnect communities around the educational, recreational and social value of all types of games.

Each year our donors add to our success to our programs with their generous donations. This year our donors are Paizo, Looney Labs, Hungry For More Games, Twogether Studios, Babalibri (Italy), Breakout EDU, Creativamente (Italy), DV Giochi (Italy), Days of Wonder, Erickson (Italy), Gamewright, Plaid Hat Games, Puupazzi (Italy), Red Glove (Italy), Space Cowboys, Binca Games (UK), FreNeTiC (UK), and Asmodee (Games, Italy, and UK). About the Games and Gaming Round Table

The Games and Gaming Round Table (GameRT) of the 91´«Ã½ provides a venue for librarians interested in the use of games and gaming in libraries of all types a place to gather and share. GameRT was formed in 2011, replacing and extending the pre-existing gaming member interest group. As a round table, GameRT is built around our shared passion for games and the use of gaming within libraries. With members from all types of libraries, GameRT encompasses a wide variety of viewpoints, situations, and user types.
