91ý

CHICAGO — Why do strange things keep happening at Peoria (Ill.) Public Library? Is the building haunted by ghosts? Do the stacks truly sit on cursed ground?

Dewey Decibel, the monthly podcast of American Libraries magazine, will tackle these questions in its October 26 episode.

In “The Haunting of Peoria Public Library”—a Halloween special sponsored by Gale, a Cengage Company—Dewey Decibel host Phil Morehart travels to Central Illinois to unravel a paranormal mystery with help from local witnesses and expert researchers.

Award-winning nonfiction author Mary Roach (Spook: Science Tackles the Afterlife), paranormal writer John B. Kachuba (Ghosthunting Illinois), and staffers at Peoria Public Library and Bradley University Library guest star and guide Dewey Decibel on a ghoulish expedition. The episode goes live October 26 on SoundCloud and iTunes.
