DOGObooks and YALSA partner for 2018 Teens’ Top Ten voting

CHICAGO, IL – The Young Adult Library Services Association (YALSA) has announced that it will be partnering with , the largest website for kids and teen books, to host the voting for the 2018 .

For the sixth year in a row, will be the host site where teens will vote for the . Voting by teens has grown significantly over the last couple of years and YALSA expects a record number of votes this year.

“We are thrilled to host YALSA’s Teens’ Top Ten voting for the sixth consecutive year, and gain insight into what books resonate with young readers,” said Meera Dolasia, CEO of DOGO Media.

Beginning August 15th, a link to the 2018 voting page on , will be posted on the site. The voting page will showcase all 25 nominee book covers and summaries, and will give teens the opportunity to leave comments about their favorite titles.

Voting for the 2018 will take place from August 15 to October 13, 2018. Teens from ages 12-18 are eligible to participate and can vote for up to three of their favorite titles from the list of 25 nominated. A featuring all of the 25 nominated books can be found on the .

Nominations are posted on the Thursday of National Library Week each year, and readers vote online between August and Teen Read Week. To learn more about the Teens' Top Ten and voting, please visit the .
