PLA Virtual Conference registration to close March 14

CHICAGO — Time is running out for interested participants to register for the Public Library Association's (PLA) . The Virtual Conference is an opportunity for public library workers who are unable to attend the Association's in person, to be part of this exciting event. Registration will close at 5:30 p.m. Eastern Time on Wednesday, March 14.

The 2018 Virtual Conference is a condensed, live, online conference experience, taking place March 22-23. It will consist of live programming, including five hour-long programs each day, plus author interviews and opportunities for networking. Programs are chosen from among the highest rated in PLA’s session preference survey.

Individual and group registration options are available. Individual registration is $250 for PLA and Pennsylvania Library Association (PaLA) personal members, $305 for 91´«Ã½ personal members, $360 for nonmembers and $125 for students. For $605, groups may host the virtual conference for multiple attendees gathered in a single location. All registrants will have access to the Virtual Conference programming for one year after the event. to register or for more information.

Offered biennially, the PLA Conference is the premier event for public libraries, drawing thousands of librarians, library support staff, trustees, friends and library vendors from across the country and around the world.
