A new edition of Peggy Johnson’s essential collection development and management text

CHICAGO — Expert instructor and librarian Peggy Johnson has revised and freshened “ published by 91ý Editions, for its new fourth edition to ensure its timeliness and continued excellence. Each chapter offers complete coverage of one aspect of collection development and management, including numerous suggestions for further reading and narrative case studies exploring the issues. Thorough consideration is given to:

She teaches as an adjunct professor in the MLIS program at St. Catherine University. Prior to retiring from the University of Minnesota Libraries, she served as associate university librarian. A past president of the Association for Library Collections and Technical Services (ALCTS), she received the ALCTS Ross Atkinson Lifetime Achievement Award in 2009.
