ALSC now accepting applications for Strengthening Communities Through Libraries Minigrants

CHICAGO — The Association for Library Service to Children (ALSC) is now accepting online applications for the . These grants are made possible through a grant from the Dollar General Literacy Foundation.

Proposals should include programming that strengthens community opportunities for STEAM learning during school breaks. ALSC will award twelve $5,000 Strengthening Communities Through Libraries minigrants to members in public libraries and develop supplemental resources that will be made widely available to support the out-of-school time programming of libraries and other community organizations. The deadline to apply is Oct. 20, 2017.
