LLAMA Webinar: 21st Century Library Ethics

As the world becomes increasingly digital, information politics have become more convoluted and can impact libraries profoundly. The Library Leadership and Management Association (LLAMA) will present “21st Century Library Ethics,” on Wed., September 13, at 1:30 – 3:00 pm (Central time). This webinar will explore what the current political climate means for library ethics and how librarians can shape the future and be a force for positive change in their communities.

Presenter Sarah Houghton will discuss the 91´«Ã½ Library Bill of Rights and Professional Code of Ethics, as well as library initiatives around the world that bring attention to various aspects of library ethics including privacy, threats to intellectual freedom, free speech, and freedom of information access.
