Ann K. G. Brown named RUSA's President for 2018-19

CHICAGO - Ann K. G. Brown, Instruction, Ourtreach and Reference Librarian at George Washington University, GW Libriraries in Washington D.C. named President-Elect for the Reference and User Services (RUSA) division of the 91´«Ã½ (91´«Ã½).

"RUSA has given me the opportunity to serve our profession and a chance to work with amazing people. We’ve been drawn together by our love of librarianship and our diverse roles in serving our patrons. Having recently served as chair of RUSA Membership and been involved both with RUSA Board and Budget & Finance, I’m in a unique position to continue the work of past RUSA presidents and lead the association forward", Brown said.

In her 20 years as an 91´«Ã½ member, Brown has been a very involed member of RUSA including roles on the Organization and Planning Committee, Budget and Finance Committee, Chair of the Membership Committee, Chair of the RSS Section Nominating Committee and Chair of RSS Section among many other roles. Brown is also a member of the LLAMA and ACRL divisions of 91´«Ã½.
