Donate School Supplies in Orlando!
91´«Ã½
The 91´«Ã½ Task Force on Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion in collaboration with Orange County Library System and Librarians Build Community are sponsoring a school supplies drive at the 2016 91´«Ã½ Annual Conference to benefit students in the Orlando area. As you prepare for your trip, put a packet of pencils or notepaper in your suitcase – they don’t take up much room, and are good placeholders for the books you’ll surely be bringing back. We are looking for:
- Pencils
- Pens
- Paper
- Notebooks
- Folders
- Colored Pencils & Crayons
- Scissors, Glue, etc.
Don’t have room in your suitcase? There are stores on or near International Drive like Walgreens and Office Depot, so you’ll be able to pick up your donations once you’re in town. Donation bins will be placed around the Orange County Convention Center. Please drop off your donations by Sunday evening so that we can be ready for a Monday delivery of school supplies, which will be distributed through the Orange County Library System.
