CHICAGO – Looking for a new way to promote Library Card Sign-up Month to your community? Join Jeff Julian, director of the 91´«Ã½'s (91´«Ã½) Public Awareness Office, and Megan McFarlane, Libraries Transform coordinator, for a free webinar to learn about this year’s Library Card Sign-up Month honorary spokesdog, Snoopy, with tips for running a successful public awareness campaign.

As honorary spokesdog, Snoopy is once again lending his image to print and digital public service announcements (PSAs) reminding parents, caregivers, teachers and students that the most important school supply of all is a library card. A library card not only serves as your ticket to action and adventure through innovative programming and books. or academic success. It’s also just plain cool.

Since 1987, has been held each September to mark the beginning of the school year.
