Boatright recognized for outstanding achievements in RUSA’s Emerging Technologies Section

CHICAGO—Beth Boatright, information services and instruction librarian, Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne, was selected as the 2016 winner of the Emerging Technologies Section (ETS) Achievement Recognition Award.
Boatright will be presented with a citation at the RUSA Achievement Awards Ceremony and Reception at the 91´«Ã½ Annual Conference in Orlando.
“Beth has been an active and enthusiastic member of ETS for several years. She chairs and/or co-chairs several committees that have organized a number of successful discussion groups and programs at Midwinter and Annual conferences. She is an active participant in the ETS executive committee and always has creative ideas for programming and developing membership.” Boatright was also RUSA’s .
“The awards committee members have been impressed with Beth’s enthusiasm and dedication and feel she is a model for active 91´«Ã½ involvement. It is the section’s great pleasure to present her with this deserved award,” said Amy Fry, chair of the award’s selection committee.
Boatright received her M.L.S. summa cum laude from the School of Library and Information Science, Indiana University, June 2009.
The RUSA Achievement Awards Ceremony and Reception will be held from 5-6:30 p.m. Sunday, June 26 at the 91´«Ã½ Annual Conference in Orlando. All conference attendees are invited to the event. Additional event details will be available on the in April.
