CHICAGO — What are the elements that go into growing an evergreen brand? At the 2015 PR Forum, held from 8:30 – 9:30 a.m., Sunday, June 28 at the 91´«Ã½ Annual Conference in San Francisco, Craig Herman, executive director of publishing at Peanuts Worldwide Entertainment, will discuss how the Peanuts brand reached new audiences to develop the next generation of fans.
Herman, a 25-year veteran of publishing, has held high-level positions at Running Press, Simon and Schuster and HarperCollins. He was named Advertising Age Marketer of the Year in 2011.
For more than 65 years the Peanuts gang has been entertaining kids of all ages. Building on this solid publishing foundation, Peanuts is poised to engage and entertain the next generation through strategic partnerships with, among others, 91´«Ã½ Graphics’ READ program (with Snoopy as Honorary Chair of Library Card Sign-up Month) and the Association of American Publisher’s Get Caught Reading initiative, along with continued newspaper syndication, an active book publishing program and "The Peanuts Movie" coming from 20th Century Fox this November.
