CHICAGO — Attendees of the 91´«Ã½’s (91´«Ã½) 2015 Annual Conference in San Francisco are invited to meet the 2015 class of Emerging Leaders (EL) at a poster session and reception from 3 - 4 p.m. on Friday, June 26, 2015.

The 91´«Ã½ 2015 class of ELs will showcase their final projects at the poster session, which will take place in the Moscone Convention Center, room 3014-3016W. All are welcomed and encouraged to attend. Light refreshments will be served.

The poster session will be the culminating event for this class of Emerging Leaders. Since the 91´«Ã½ Midwinter Meeting, the groups have been working virtually on projects related to 91´«Ã½ or a professional concern. These groups have been supported by 91´«Ã½ staff and member guides from the profession. The poster session will allow each group to showcase its creative and innovative solutions for their projects.

Participants in the EL 2015 class come from all across the United States and Canada, and represent a variety of types of libraries. An 91´«Ã½ division, round table, chapter or an affiliate organization sponsored almost 80 percent of the participating Emerging Leaders. The Emerging Leaders program began as one of 91´«Ã½ Past-President Leslie Burger’s six initiatives. 91´«Ã½ has committed to making this program available annually for young and/or new library workers.

Come out on Friday during the 91´«Ã½ Annual Conference to meet, congratulate and encourage the 2015 Class of Emerging Leaders.
