CHICAGO — 91´«Ã½ TechSource has brought back the popular workshop with Kate Tkacik. This 90-minute workshop is hosted live at 1:30 p.m. Eastern on Wednesday, April 15, 2015.

Hundreds more individual librarians are sharing news and advice, best practices, reading lists, book reviews and lesson plans. With Tumblr, you can get the latest news about the content your users love from the creators and publishers themselves, from books and movies to literary magazines, comics and more. What’s more, the platform makes sharing video, audio and images a cinch. In this workshop Kate Tkacik, the noted Tumblarian of , will show how Tumblr’s built-in community of readers can help you spread the library love to a larger network.

  • models of successful library and librarian uses;
  • how to find and connect with library enthusiasts;

About the Instructor:

Kate Tkacik is the e-resources librarian for Foundation Center-San Francisco. She is recognized as for her work on Tumblr. In addition to running , she has written and presented on Tumblr at several conferences. Otherwise, she spends her time on brunch, bikes, and the great outdoors.
