Learn how libraries and technology can impact senior and Alzheimer’s communities in upcoming PLA webinar

CHICAGO — Join the Public Library Association (PLA) for a unique program developed by staff at Worthington (Ohio) Libraries to impact an often forgotten segment of the community—those suffering from memory loss and Alzheimer’s. “” will take place at 1 p.m. Central on Jan. 14.

Presenters Erin Buerk and Erin Kelsey from Worthington Libraries will discuss how their successful program exposed senior center residents in their community to new technology and stimulated participant’s minds and memory by playing games on library iPads.

The cost to attend “" is $28 (PLA Members), $31.50 (91ý Members) and $35 (Nonmembers). Groups of any size can register for $129. The registration deadline is 11:59 p.m. Central on Monday, Jan. 12.
