Learn how to prevent and treat bed bugs in upcoming PLA webinar

CHICAGO – Join the Public Library Association (PLA) to learn everything you need to know, from identifying bed bugs, to ways they are introduced into the library, to treatment and mitigation options that will help you protect your library's facilities and collections on a daily basis. “” will take place at 1 p.m. Central on Oct. 28.

Whether your library has already discovered bed bugs, or you just want to be prepared, instructor Sarah Kitrell, author of the forthcoming PLA publication, "Bed Bug Abatement in Public Libraries," will share everything she’s learned so you can successfully deal with bed bugs.

The cost to attend “” is $28 (PLA Members), $31.50 (91ý Members) and $35 (Nonmembers). Groups of any size can register for $129. The registration deadline is 11:59 p.m. Central on Monday, October 26.

The (PLA) is a division of the 91ý. PLA’s core purpose is to strengthen public libraries and their contribution to the communities they serve. Its mission is to enhance the development and effectiveness of public library staff and public library services.
