Celebrate award winners and enjoy hors d'oeuvres at the ASCLA/COSLA reception

CHICAGO — Networking, hors d'oeuvres and an awards presentation are on the agenda for the ASCLA/COSLA reception at the upcoming 91´«Ã½ Annual Conference in Las Vegas. All conference attendees are invited to participate in the celebration.
The event, a conference tradition co-sponsored by The Association of Specialized and Cooperative Agencies () and Chief Officers of State Library Agencies (), will feature delicious hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar that attendees can enjoy while celebrating this year’s ASCLA Achievement Award recipients. — for innovative library services to people with disabilities; for advancement of library services for the blind and physically handicapped; — recognize both outstanding service to ASCLA as well as achievements in the areas in which ASCLA members work and serve the library community.
Annual Conference attendees employed or interested in these areas—state library agencies; networks, cooperatives and consortia; specialized libraries such as those for the blind, deaf, hard of hearing and incarcerated populations; and independent librarians and library consultants—are encouraged to join the party and meet other professionals.
