CHICAGO – An upcoming webinar from the American Association of School Librarians (AASL) will demonstrate how research - done correctly - will touch almost every one of AASL's “Standards for the 21st-Century Learner” and the "anchor standards" in the Common Core State Standards (CCSS). In “Repackaging Research,” Jaeger will address how to ensure research projects are challenging today's hyperconnected youth. The webinar will cover the topics of: moving beyond "information Hide 'n Seek," why research is the next big thing, reaching teachers and administrators, and technology integration. “Repackaging Research” is a follow up to Jaeger’s previous webinar, “Brains Change @ Your Library.”

Paige Jaeger facilitates 84 libraries in the upstate New York region and has been a librarian at both the elementary and secondary levels. Jaeger is a member of the AASL Common Core Implementation task force and a past AASL national conference and webinar presenter. She is the co-author of the book “Rx for the Common Core: Toolbox for Inquiry Based Learning” and her next book with Mary Ratzer, “Think Tank Library,” is due to be published later in 2014.
