Mary Page chosen ALCTS president-elect

CHICAGO – Mary Page, associate director for collections and technical services at the University of Central Florida is the newly elected president-elect of the Association for Library Collections & Technical Services (ALCTS). Page’s term begins at the end of the 91´«Ã½ 2013 Annual Conference in Chicago.

She has been actively involved in ALCTS serving as director-at-large for the Board of Directors (2009-2012), co-chair of the Program Committee (2012-2013) and chair of the Continuing Resources Section (2004-2005). Page served as NASIG president (2005-2006) and an at-large board member (2000-2003).

Prior to the University of Central Florida, Page held positions at the University of California, Davis and Rutgers University.

She is a member of Beta Phi Mu and Phi Beta Kappa.

In addition to the election of Mary Page, Keri Cascio, director of innovative technologies and library resource management, Linda Hall Library of Science, Engineering and Technology, Kansas City, Mo., was elected to a three-year term as director-at-large to the ALCTS Board of Directors.
