Lead, publish and teach with ALCTS

91´«Ã½

CHICAGO - Do you really know what opportunities there are to be involved in your association? Have ever thought about publishing some of your ideas? Wanted to know how you could be one of the webinar presenters? Now is your chance to find out.

“Lead, Publish, and Teach with ALCTS!”, the ALCTS Forum, gives you that chance to hear from leaders, editors and continuing education planners. Join us from 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 28, 2013 at the 91´«Ã½ Midwinter Meeting in Seattle in The Conference Center of the Washington State Convention Center, Room 304. ALCTS is the Association for Library Collections and Technical Services and the sponsor of this Midwinter Forum.

Learn about the many opportunities for members have to "Lead, Publish, and Teach," including volunteering for ALCTS committees. Hear from current and former ALCTS elected officers, editors of ALCTS Publications and members from division committees such as Continuing Education, Leadership Development, Membership and Publications. There will be ample time to ask questions and meet the presenters.

Anyone considering volunteering for an ALCTS committee or would like to learn more about becoming an ALCTS author or presenter should add this session to their Midwinter conference schedule!
