Experts to discuss copyright trends at the 2014 91´«Ã½ Annual Conference

LAS VEGAS—Hear about current copyright policy challenges and developments at the session "Copyright Hot Topics and Big Ideas," a conference program that will be held at the 2014 91´«Ã½ Annual Conference in Las Vegas. The session will take place from 1:00–2:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 28, 2014, in Las Vegas Convention Center in room N256.
This panel presentation, modeled after Library Information Technology Association's "Top Tech Trends" conference program, will briefly highlight a number of copyright policy developments including copyright legislative reform, the status of the HathiTrust and Georgia State court appeals, and the newly established Authors Alliance. Panelists will discuss digital first sale, international copyright treaties on library and archive exceptions, global licensing, and the status of copyright exceptions for the blind and the print-disabled.
