United for Libraries to present free ‘Nuts & Bolts for Trustees, Friends and Foundations’ at 91ý Annual Conference

BRYN MAWR, Pennsylvania — United for Libraries will present the free workshop “Nuts & Bolts for Trustees, Friends & Foundations,” sponsored by BookPage, from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, June 26, at the Westin St. Francis Union Square (California East BR) at the 91ý Annual Conference in San Francisco.

Library trustees, friends groups, foundations and staff are invited to join a day of information and resource sharing, roundtable discussions and learning opportunities. The morning will feature breakout sessions with presentations geared specifically for Friends, Trustees, and Foundations. Attendees bring their own lunch (or purchase on site) for “Lunch with an Expert,” featuring open forum roundtable discussions with experts on various topics. Keynoting will be writer, activist and library advocate Jewelle Gomez. A panel discussion on communication between trustees, friends of the library, and library foundations will also be held.
