ALSC offers webinar on family programming in a tough economy

CHICAGO - At noon CDT on Friday, May 13, 2011, the Association for Library Service to Children (ALSC) will be hosting a webinar, "."

Taught by Angela Young, youth services librarian at the Lorain (Ohio) Public Library, this hour-long webinar helps librarians explore new ways to save money and still offer super library programs for the whole family. Participants will learn ways to work with local businesses and to network with community agencies to create fun and informative programs.

This webinar, part of ALSC’s new series of timely and convenient , is perfect for the busy librarian or children’s literature specialist.

Webinars take place in a virtual meeting room on Adobe Connect and, because they are in real time, participants have the opportunity to take part in a Q & A with the instructor. More webinars are being added to the schedule, please visit the website for more information. Costs are $45 for ALSC members, $55 for nonmembers, and $195 for groups.
