CHICAGO — Join the Young Adult Library Services Association (YALSA) in honoring Sir Terry Pratchett, winner of the for nine of his beloved novels, at the Margaret A. Edwards Luncheon at noon CDT on June 25 at the 91´«Ã½ Annual Conference in New Orleans. Pratchett will speak about his books and writing for children and teens after a sit-down luncheon. The luncheon costs $59.

Knighted by Queen Elizabeth II in 2009 for services to literature, Pratchett published his first short story when he was 13. A resident of Somerset, England, Pratchett has one daughter, a wife and many cats. He has published more than 50 books and his works have been translated into 36 languages. He won the 2011 Edwards Award for lifetime contribution to writing for teens for the following books:
