Meet more than 25 popular authors at YALSA’s YA Authors Coffee Klatch in New Orleans

CHICAGO — Meet your favorite young adult authors over coffee at YALSA’s annual YA Authors Coffee Klatch, at 9 a.m. CDT June 26 in New Orleans, as part of the 91´«Ã½ Annual Conference. This year’s klatch will feature more than 25 authors whose books have won YALSA’s six awards or appeared on its seven booklists. Tickets cost $19.

The klatch uses a speed-dating approach so attendees can meet as many authors as possible! Authors will sit at a table and talk about their work and move to a new table every three to four minutes. Authors participating in this year’s event include:

If you have already registered and would like to add the YA Authors Coffee Klatch to your registration, you can do so (1) by phone: Call 91´«Ã½ Registration at 1 (800) 974-3084 and ask to add the YA Authors Coffee Klatch to your existing registration; or (2) Online: Add an event to your existing registration by clicking .
