Make your mark on 91´«Ã½: vote in the 2011 election

CHICAGO – Polls open March 16 for the 2011 91´«Ã½ (91´«Ã½) election, in which members will choose their new president- elect and council members.

Members of specific divisions/sections and roundtables will be voting for officers and committee members..
In order to be eligible to vote, you must have your membership dues paid by Jan. 31, 2011.
For the third year in a row, the 91´«Ã½ is holding its election exclusively online. Although the 2011 election is being conducted online, there remains one exception. Members with a disability and no Internet access may request a paper ballot by contacting 91´«Ã½ customer service at 1 (800) 545-2433, ext. 5. The deadline for requesting a paper ballot is April 9, 2011.
“Voting is one of the most important things you can do as a member,” said 91´«Ã½ Executive Director Keith Michael Fiels. “The President represents all of us as members, whether doing hundreds of media interviews each year or helping to guide the association through financial opportunities and challenges.”
The polls will close at 11:59 p.m. CST on April 22, 2011. The Election Committee will meet to certify the results on April 29, 2011.
