Polls close Sept. 17 for YALSA’s Teens’ Top Ten

CHICAGO —Through Sept. 17, teens can vote for their favorite books from the last year in the annual Teens’ Top Ten poll at , sponsored by the .
YALSA’s Teens’ Top Ten project encourages teens to vote for their favorite books each year, with the nominations chosen by 15 teen book groups at libraries across the country. The final 2010 Teens’ Top Ten list will be announced online at during Teen Read Week, Oct. 17-23.
Find more information on the 26 nominees for this year’s Teens’ Top Ten at , along with a toolkit that includes bookmarks, flyers and other promotional tools for librarians to promote voting for the Teens’ Top Ten to the young adults visiting their libraries.
In 2009, teens cast more than 11,000 votes in the Teens’ Top Ten, with John Green winning for his book "Paper Towns."
