Start risky business at your library with YALSA’s July 15 webinar

CHICAGO - Being a teen librarian is risky business — and Risky Business: Taking Risks to Improve Teen Services, YALSA’s July 15 webinar, can help participants smartly and effectively take risks to improve services and programs for teens in their communities. The webinar will take place July 15 at 2 p.m. EDT. Registration is now open at .
Led by Linda Braun, 2009-2010 YALSA president and co-author of ," this webinar will provide participants with tools to help manage risk in developing collections, planning programs and services, introducing technology into their libraries and gaining institutional support. Braun will discuss why taking risks is important and show participants how to assess their library’s capacity for risk and ways to engage in those risks.
