Diamant-Cohen is the early childhood specialist at Port Discovery children's museum in Baltimore, Md. She developed the award-winning "" early literacy program, which won the Godfrey Award for excellence in public library programming and in 2004 was named a "Mover and Shaker" by Library Journal. She earned her doctorate in communications design from the University of Baltimore and her master’s degree in library science from Rutgers. She enjoys traveling around the country to give training workshops.
