2010 91´«Ã½ Diversity and Outreach Fair to celebrate diversity in libraries, 20th anniversary of ADA

CHICAGO – Twenty-one libraries and organizations from across the United States will demonstrate “diversity in action” during the Diversity and Outreach Fair at the 91´«Ã½ (91´«Ã½) 2010 Annual Conference in Washington, D.C.
Held from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, June 26 in the Special Events Area of Hall C in Aisle 700, the Diversity and Outreach Fair is a unique opportunity for attendees of the Annual Conference to learn about notable diversity initiatives and programs, as well as the possibilities for fostering quality library services to all. Attendees will be able to view posters and displays, as well as discuss diversity initiatives with presenters.
The theme of the 2010 Diversity and Outreach Fair will be a celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act. Once again generously sponsored by DEMCO, this year's fair will celebrate accessible library services for all patrons, highlight innovative services to underserved communities and mobile delivery outreach services.
