Rally with AASL for Library Advocacy Day

CHICAGO – The American Association of School Librarians (AASL) encourages all school librarians and supporters of school libraries to join together on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. on June 29 to show their support for school libraries. Starting at 10 a.m., AASL members, supporters and staff will meet on the Hill to raise their voices. Find out more about on the AASL Web site.
AASL wants their members and supporters to stand out! Before the rally, members and school library supporters should pick up their blue bandana to wave during the rally at the end of the AASL Affiliate Assembly meetings at Annual Conference. In conjunction with 91´«Ã½'s Washington Office efforts, AASL encourages everyone to wear red.
