What do you value about ACRL?

91´«Ã½

ACRL has given me so many opportunities to connect, learn, and grow. I have also been able to share my expertise and to support and collaborate on projects and initiatives that resonate with me. Through ACRL I am a part of a community and a network of colleagues that share my values and support one another.

What do you as an academic librarian contribute to your campus?

91´«Ã½

As the Associate University Librarian for Research & Learning Services I oversee the subject liaison program, the teaching and learning program, faculty programs, information services and public spaces, and specialized user services including those for digital humanities, multimedia production and use, and data management and analysis. I advocate for services and spaces that support learning, teaching, and research, while working to support the important work of my colleagues. I love contributing to student success and being a central service and resource for anyone and everyone on campus and in the community.

In your own words

91´«Ã½

Academic Libraries are the heart of an institution and the great equalizer. They provide access to services and resources regardless of one’s affiliation, discipline, or status at the institution. Academic libraries are also integral to an institution’s academic and research enterprise, providing the foundation upon which student and research success is built. In the library I am surrounded by colleagues with unbelievable skills and expertise.
