To advise the Committee on Legislation (COL) and the OITP Advisory Committee on copyright policy and legislation and to advise on, develop and deliver copyright education to librarians. Members may be asked to provide library case studies for regulatory filings, contact Congress and provide hearing testimony; review Washington Office (WO) copyright publications or write content for blogs and social media; and represent the 91´«Ã½ at conferences and policy convenings. Members will develop and participate in copyright programming and contribute to educational endeavors such as the Copyright Advisory Network throughout the year. Members will advocate for copyright and information policy in the interests of library users and provide mentoring to librarians responsible for copyright at their institutions.
